The original kitchen of the house, for us this room invokes fond memories of the kitchen being the hub of activity. Eva and family created memories of amazing meals while telling stories of eras gone by. Lily is located steps from the living room to enjoy a sitting area or venture out onto the front porch and experience the fun of the treadle porch swing. Once inside the Inn, there are no stairs to climb to enjoy this lovely room, located on the first floor for easy access. Lily is highlighted by a king size carved walnut bed with a wooden canopy. Silk and lace draperies filter the light and enhance the intimate ambiance of this jewel of a room. The Lily Room starts at $149 plus tax per night.View Detail
When my dad, Walter put a shower in our bathroom I was so excited. I could finally be like the other kids and take a shower instead of always taking a bath. The funny thing is... I still took more baths. Bluebonnet gives you the best of both worlds. The large bathroom offers a claw foot tub and separate shower. This elegant room on the second level, is decorated with soothing shades of pale blue and cream, featuring lovely antiques enhanced by bay windows draped in silk and lace. When you step out of this second floor room, you are set to enjoy the shared sitting area outside your door. The Bluebonnet Room starts at $169 plus tax per night.View Detail
Visiting grandparents was always a treat! Grandmommy had a big bed four post bed covered with handmade patchwork quilts. She worked as a tailor in Selma, Alabama and the quilts were comprised of fabrics from her jobs. This cozy room offers an antique queen size bed that is so high you may need to use the bedside stool to climb into bed. Absent of grandmommy's quilt the lightweight Matisse coverlet reminds you of a lost era. Your cozy 3 piece bathroom comes complete with a marble shower. The historic walk-through window opens to a shared second floor veranda with comfortable wicker chairs for enjoying the evening breeze. This room will definitely transport you to an era of gracious Southern living. The Magnolia Room starts at $149 plus tax per night.View Detail

Daddy (Walter Williams) retired from Conrail (the Pennsylvania Railroad). One of my fondest memories is taking the train from Columbus, Ohio to Los Angeles, California. We stopped at a number of desert locations. The landscape, food and architecture was curious to me. I recall the light color of the earth and how the landscape changed colors as the sun moved across the sky. Desert Blossom evokes that flavor of a Southwest vista. Its mix of antiques, traditional furnishings, and the soft color palate of the high desert transports you to a place of calm and peace. When you step through the door into the large living area, your first impression is of gracious comfort. This third floor suite is ideal as either a spacious, private retreat for two or a gathering place for friends travelling together. The Desert Blossom Suite starts at $189 plus tax per night.View Detail
